Dr. Telles-Hernandez (also known as Dr. Telles by his patients) served 6 years of active duty in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman “medic”. After serving honorably in the US Navy, Dr. Telles obtained his undergraduate degree and then went on to receive his Physician Assistant (PA) degree from Howard University in Washington DC. Following graduation, he worked at Suburban Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine as a PA, specializing in neurosurgery, orthopedic, and trauma surgery. He then obtained his M.D. from Saba University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2020. Dr. Telles then completed his Interventional Pain Fellowship at the University of Minnesota in 2021.


Dr. Telles specializes in and treats joint & muscle pain, spinal arthritis, radiculopathy, sciatica, herniated disc, postlaminectomy syndrome, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, post-herpetic neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy, headache, complex regional pain syndrome, neuromodulation, and many other pain disorders. Additionally, he provides comprehensive pain evaluations and specialized treatment options, including stellate ganglion block (SGB) for patients experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
